Preserve, Promote & Present Local History

A Community Museum governed by the Volunteer Board of the Aylmer and District Museum Association whose mandate is to preserve, promote and present local history through thematic exhibits, public and school programs, special events, research and publications utilizing the Museum's collection and archival holdings. This task includes the partnership of board, staff, volunteers with the community that supports their endeavours. These partnerships create awareness of the Museum, our local heritage and promote the Town of Aylmer and Malahide. The Museum provides the public with knowledge of the past and present information on local attractions, activities and events of interest within their operating year of March 1-November 30.
